Brenda holds a Masters of Science in graphic information technology. She has been art directing the National Security Science magazine at Los Alamos National Laboratory since 2018 and host the National Security Science podcast. Brenda lives in Northern New Mexico with my husband, three kids and my lazy Ridgeback dog. She loves snowboarding and mountain biking, and creative outlets such as songwriting, painting, and writing. Brenda studied abroad in France, Spain, and Mexico. She graduated as a Presidential Associates Honors Scholar from New Mexico State University. Travel and studying different cultures led to a passion for design and language. She studied digital media arts, worked for a safari travel company, owns her own graphic design business and is a hobby blogger. She has applied her skills to a variety of projects including branding, publication design, scientific illustration, campaigns, and exhibit design. Her awards include:
